Training - Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency
Terrorism Awareness and Prevention is provided by the
Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency in partnership with the Pennsylvania
Department of Health as a Crime Prevention & Safety Initiative. Immediately
after the tragedies of September 11, 2001, the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and
Delinquency (PCCD) began to receive requests from around the Commonwealth for public
awareness training. PCCD fulfilled this need by developing the Terrorism Awareness and
Prevention training program, which was completed in November 2002.

The mission of the Security
Industry Alarm Coalition is to create a structure for all
interested parties to come together under the banner of dispatch reduction and
alarm management and through a coordinated effort maximize the impact on
false dispatch reduction and alarm management across North America
by maintaining a liaison with national and state (or provincial) law enforcement
leadership, while educating and empowering local alarm communities to proactively foster
relationships with law enforcement before a crisis develops.
